Portadown has its fair share of characters, celebrities and everyday people, who live together, usually in harmony and help make our wee town the delightful, interesting place that it is.
Here are just a few of those people. Some have been close to me, and others are people I have met along the journey of life, and I think of them all as friends. Most are still here in Portadown, while some have moved to other pastures in this life, while others have passed on to eternity.
Jimmy
Jimmy was a popular man who lived in West Street until fairly recently, when he passed away. He worked in Shillington's hardware yard for many years

Davy works with wood. He is an expert in his field, and he is the guy who introduced me to the excellent musicianship of James Taylor. For that I am thankful

Mark, a good friend in Jesus, a humble man and a great person

A well known face about Portadown. Freddy is truely a character and a half

Adrian passed away a few years ago, after struggling through the latter years of his life
